I’ve been playing board games since I was little — starting with party games like Gestures and Apples to Apples, and then discovering modern classics like Catan, Ticket to Ride, and Wingspan. From there I fell in love with games that are thematic, cute, and beautifully illustrated — the kind of games where you can feel the love and care their creators poured into them. Every piece and component feels intentional, and I love celebrating that detail through both play and photography.
What I love most about board games is the togetherness they create. Sitting at a table with friends, laughing, learning, and making memories — those are the moments I treasure most.
At the same time, I also value the rise of solo gaming. As a wife and mom of three, life is wonderfully full, but sometimes having time to myself with a board game is the reset I need. Playing solo gives me space for reflection, fun, and a little “me time” that still feels meaningful.
That’s why I call myself The Cozy Gamer. For me, joy looks like sitting in a robe with a warm cup of tea or coffee, setting up a game at my table, and letting the world slow down.
